The Affiliates tab in an Offer allows you to manage which Affiliates have access to the Offer and configure specific settings per Affiliate that override the defaults. This gives you granular control over access, fallback behaviour, retention, and traffic limits on a per-Affiliate basis.
How to access it
Go to the Offer, then click the AFFILIATES tab. To edit the configuration for a specific Affiliate, click the edit icon on the right side of that Affiliate's row.
Offer access
Controls whether an Affiliate can see and access the Offer in the Marketplace. The available options depend on the Offer's Visibility setting.
Offer visibility = Public
Enabled — the Affiliate can see the Offer in the Marketplace and access the Tracking URL and full details.
Disabled — the Affiliate can see the Offer in the Marketplace but cannot access the Tracking URL or details.
Offer visibility = Protected
Not available — the Affiliate can see the Offer but must request access to the Tracking URL.
Requested — the Affiliate has already requested access and is awaiting the account manager's review.
Approved — the Affiliate has been granted access and can see the Tracking URL and full details.
Rejected — the Affiliate's access request was rejected. They can see the Offer but cannot access the Tracking URL.
Offer visibility = Private
Not visible — the Affiliate cannot see the Offer in the Marketplace at all.
Assigned — the Affiliate can see the Offer and access the Tracking URL and full details.
Blocked — the Affiliate can see the Offer but cannot access the Tracking URL or details.
When requested offer is not available
Overrides the Affiliate's default fallback behaviour specifically for this Offer. The options are the same as those configured in the Affiliate's profile, but applied only to this Offer-Affiliate combination.
Find alternative offer and report to the affiliate — Aftrad redirects the click to the most suitable alternative Offer:
Attributed offer's payout value — the Affiliate is notified with the actual payout of the alternative Offer on each conversion.
Requested offer's payout value — conversions accumulate until they reach the payout of the original Offer, at which point a single notification is sent to the Affiliate.
Return click to traffic back URL — the click is redirected to the Traffic Back URL configured in the Affiliate's profile.
💡 Tip: Use this override when a specific Affiliate requires different fallback behaviour than the default configured in their profile.
Retention percentage
Overrides the default retention percentage for this specific Affiliate on this Offer. When set, the configured percentage of conversions from this Affiliate will be automatically retained before being processed.
Budgets & Caps
Allows you to configure custom traffic limits for a specific Affiliate on this Offer. There are two types:
Shared
A maximum limit for this Affiliate on this Offer, independent of any other configuration. When the limit is reached, this Affiliate's traffic to the Offer stops until the period resets.
For example, you can limit an Affiliate to:
50 clicks per hour
10 conversions per hour
$5 revenue per hour
Reserved
A guaranteed allocation carved out from the Offer's global budget or CAP. Use this when you want to ensure a specific Affiliate always has a portion of the Offer's capacity reserved for them.
Important rules for Reserved caps:
A global budget or CAP must be configured on the Offer before you can set a Reserved cap for an Affiliate.
The sum of all Reserved caps across all Affiliates must not exceed the global Offer budget or CAP.
For example, if the Offer has a global CAP of 100 clicks per hour, you could reserve 50 for Affiliate A and 50 for Affiliate B — the total (100) equals the global CAP, which is valid.
