In Aftrad, you can override the default configuration for every offer and configure some specific values for every affiliate.

Related to affiliates, in every offer, you can set some specific configurations:

  • Offer access

  • Fallback policy

  • Retention percentage

  • Budget & caps

Offer access

You can configure the access privilege between the affiliate and the offer. Depending on the default offer visibility, you have different options:

  • Offer visibility = Public.

    • Enabled: The affiliate will see the offer on the affiliate marketplace, and the tracking link and detailed information will be available to the affiliate.

    • Disabled: The affiliate will see the offer on the affiliate marketplace, but the tracking link and detailed information won't be available to the affiliate.

  • Offer visibility = Protected.

    • Not available: The affiliate will see the offer on the affiliate marketplace, but the tracking link and detailed information won't be available to the affiliate. The affiliate must request access to the offer.

    • Requested: The affiliate will see the offer on the affiliate marketplace, but the tracking link and detailed information will not be available to the affiliate. The affiliate has already requested access to the offer and is awaiting the account manager's review.

    • Assigned: The affiliate will see the offer on the affiliate marketplace, and the tracking link and detailed information will be available to the affiliate.

    • Rejected: The affiliate will see the offer on the affiliate platform, but the tracking link and detailed information won't be available to the affiliate.

  • Offer visibility = Private.

    • Not visible: The affiliate won't see the offer on the affiliate marketplace.

    • Assigned: The affiliate will see the offer on the affiliate marketplace, and the tracking link and detailed information will be available to the affiliate.

    • Blocked: The affiliate will see the offer on the affiliate marketplace, but the tracking link and detailed information won't be available to the affiliate.

To change the Offer access, you need to go to the right side of the Affiliates, click on the edit button and change the Offer access for every affiliate:

Then, depending on the offer visibility, you will see different options.

Offer visibility = Public.

Offer visibility = Protected.

Offer visibility = Private.

When requested offer is not available

It is possible to override the fallback policy for every affiliate in every offer. In other words, what to do with every click if it is not valid for the offer. The options are the same as you can edit in the Affiliate:

  • Find alternative offer and report to the affiliate: If you choose this option, Aftrad will send the traffic to the most optimal offer.

    • attributed offer's payout value: If you select this option, every conversion will be attributed to the affiliate, regardless of whether the payout for the affiliate is the same as the requested offer.

    • requested offer's payout value: The conversion will only be attributed to the affiliate when the accumulated affiliate payout equals or exceeds the payout of the requested offer. Therefore, the platform will continue accumulating postbacks until the payout of the requested offer is reached. This will result in a discrepancy between the number of events recorded for the network and those for the affiliate. However, from the affiliates' point of view, they will always receive a postback with the same payout.

  • Return click to traffic back URL: If you choose this option, the traffic will be redirected to the URL configured in the Traffic Back URL field.

Retention percentage

It is possible to override the retention percentage for every affiliate in every offer.

Budgets & caps

Configuring custom budget and cap values for every affiliate in every offer is possible. First of all, it is important to know that there are two kinds of budgets and caps:

  • Shared

  • Reserved

Shared

This means the value you configure for the budget or cap will be limited. In other words, it is the maximum number of clicks, conversions, or revenue you will configure for the offer affiliate in a period. I.e.

In the image below, you can see a configuration where there is a limit for "Affiliate example" of:

  • 50 clicks per hour

  • 10 conversiones per hour

  • 5 USD per hour

Reserved

This means the value you configure for the budget or cap is a reservation over the global offer budget and caps configured. Configuring a reserved budget or cap is impossible without a global budget or cap. The total sum of the reserved budget or caps must be configured and lower than the global offer budget. I.e.

Global offer budget and caps:

Custom affiliates budget and caps:

The total sum of reserved budget and caps is lower than the global offer budget and caps configuration
