You can configure different payouts for the same offer based on targeting, event types, and payout types.
Additionally, you can configure different payouts for each affiliate, affiliate source, and affiliate subsource.
For every offer, there are two types of payout rules:
Default payout
Custom payout rules
Default payout
This is the unique payout that is mandatory in every offer. All payouts received for the offer will fit with its configuration.
Event setup
Event type: This is the event type Aftrad will assign to all the postbacks managed by the default payout rule. The event type is an internal classification you can set in every payout rule.
Visibility:
Private: The event will be kept in Aftrad and won't be visible to the Affiliate. This also means that for Payable events, there won't be attributions in statistics for the affiliate.
Public: The event will be visible for the Affiliate. This also means that for Payable events, there will be attributions in statistics for the affiliate.
Repeatable:
Yes: Aftrad will accept more than one event with the same click_id for the payout rule.
No: Aftrad won't accept more than one event with the same click_id for the payout rule.
Classification:
KPI: The Payout values section will be hidden if this option is selected. So, the event won't generate revenue in Aftrad.
Payable: The Payout values section will be visible. So, it is possible to configure a payout for the event.
Conversion cap:
Yes: Every received event will affect the conversion cap.
No: None of the received events will affect the conversion cap.
Revenue Budget:
Yes: Every received event will affect the revenue budget
No: None of the received events will affect the revenue budget
Payout in postback:
Ignored: Aftrad will ignore the payout value received from the Advertiser. This value will be taken from the payout rule. Therefore, it is mandatory to configure the "Advertiser payout" and the "Affiliate payout"
Required: It is mandatory to receive a payout in the event received from the Advertiser. Therefore, it is mandatory to configure both an advertiser payout modifier and a margin.
Advertiser payout modifier: This percentage will be applied to the value received from the Advertiser in the payout parameter. In general, the value must be 100%, so there will be no modifications to the payout received from the advertiser. For instance:
Payout received in the postback URL = 10
Advertiser payout modifier = 100% --> The platform will consider 10 as payout value.
Advertiser payout modifier = 80% --> The platform will consider 8 as payout value.
Advertiser payout modifier = 120% --> The platform will consider 12 as payout value.
Overrides: Mix mode allows Aftrad to receive a payout or not in the postback, so both types of configurations must be set up.
Override affiliate revenue share:
Yes: The affiliate payout will be calculated based on the margin configured in the default payout rule.
No: The affiliate payout will be calculated based on the margin configured for each affiliate in the Affiliate form.
