Important: Any conversion generated via the Test Link tool or click ID:
Will appear in the Advertiser Events Report
Will not be counted in general stats or attributed to affiliates
How to manage test links with Affiliates
Testing the postback integration with the affiliates is very simple. You need to use the test link tool.
Prerequisite: Affiliate’s postback must be configured.
Go to the specific Offer, then AFFILIATES.
Click the three dots next to the affiliate and select “Test link” to open the test link tool drawer.
Choose External test mode.
Copy the tracking link and send it to your affiliate.
The affiliate uses the link on their platform and provides a test link URL back to you.
Paste this URL into the tool and click Begin test. A new tab opens showing:
Affiliate Click ID
Event ID (internal click ID)
Available Payout Rules
Select the payout rule (e.g., Default), then click Trigger Postback.
The postback is fired and, once processed, the affiliate receives confirmation via their postback URL.
How to manage testlinks with Advertisers
Testing the postback integration with the advertisers is very simple. You need to use the test link tool.
Prerequisites:
Create a fictional internal Affiliate for test purposes.
Register the Advertiser you’ll be testing.
Share your postback URL with the Advertiser.
Then:
Create a private offer with no targeting restrictions, including the Advertiser’s tracking URL.
Insert the
{click_id}macro in the agreed parameter field so they can transmit the click ID back in the postback.Go to AFFILIATES, locate the internal test affiliate, and use Test Link.
Select Internal test, and click Begin test:
This opens a new tab showing Affiliate Click ID, Event ID, and payout rules.
Choose Go directly to offer tracking link, which funnels the click to the Advertiser’s URL and click Go to offer.
Please refresh the page to monitor postback status: Once the Advertiser confirms sending the postback, a refresh will reveal its receipt.
