Create an offer - Basic setup

How to create an offer in Aftrad

How to create an offer with the minimum mandatory information:

  • Go to Offers

In the top right corner of the Offer List page, click on Create.

Then select the offer type you want to create:

This will redirect you to the Offer creation page.

  1. Fill in the mandatory fields.

    1. GENERAL

      1. Main setup

        1. Offer information

          1. Advertiser: advertiser who owns the Offer.

          2. Offer name: name of the Offer.

          3. Device: list of devices from which the Offer accepts traffic.

            1. Mobile

            2. Desktop

          4. Status:

            1. Active: select this value if you want the Offer to receive traffic.

            2. Draft

            3. Deleted

            4. Paused

            5. Pending

          5. Type: offer type. The different options will depend on the kind of Offer created (CPA, CPE, CPL, CPI and CPS)

          6. Conversion flow: offer conversion flow. The different options will depend on the kind of Offer created (CPA, CPE, CPL, CPI and CPS)

        2. Tracking & Visibility

          1. Tracking URL: The Advertiser's offer URL

          2. Visibility: offer visibility for the affiliate in the Marketplace:

            1. Public: The Offer will be visible to all the affiliates, and they can get the tracking URL to send traffic.

            2. Protected: The Offer will be visible to all the affiliates, but they must request access to the tracking URL to send traffic.

            3. Private: The Offer will not be visible to affiliates until the account manager manually assigns it to each affiliate.

          3. Redirection type: redirection protocol to send the click to the Tracking URL.

        3. Targeting: Targeting is not mandatory. You can leave it empty if you don't want to apply any targeting restrictions.

      2. Payouts & Events

        1. Default payout: default configuration for the Advertiser events.

          1. Event type: default event type.

          2. Visibility:

            1. PRIVATE: the event is private, so it won't be attributed to the affiliate or trigger any notifications.

            2. PUBLIC: the event is public, so it will be attributed to the affiliate and trigger a notification (if postback is configured)

          3. Classification:

            1. KPI: informative event: no advertiser payout configured.

            2. Payable: payable event: advertiser payout configured.

          4. Conversion cap:

            1. Yes: this event will count for the conversion caps configured.

            2. No: This event won't count for the conversion caps configured.

          5. Revenue budget (only for Payable events)

            1. Yes: this event will count for the revenue caps configured.

            2. No: This event won't count for the revenue caps configured.

          6. Payout in postback:

            1. Ignored: The advertiser payout is configured in this event, so if a different payout is included in the Advertiser postback URL, it will be ignored.

            2. Required: The advertiser payout is mandatory in the Advertiser postback URL.

            3. Overrides: This option combines the previous options. If the Advertiser payout is included in the postback URL, it will be used. In other cases, the advertiser payout configured in the payout rule will be used.

          7. Override affiliate revenue share:

            1. Yes: The affiliate revenue share must be configured in the payout rule.

            2. No: The affiliate revenue share will be taken from every affiliate configuration.

          8. Advertiser payout: The amount of money in USD the Advertiser will pay for every event (if it is configured as PAYABLE)

  2. Click Save. The Offer will be created.
