Written by Jorge Rubia

An Affiliate in Aftrad represents a traffic partner who will send clicks to your Offers. This guide covers the minimum required configuration to get an Affiliate created and ready to go.

How to create an Affiliate

Go to Affiliates and click Create in the top right corner. Fill in the following mandatory fields and click Save.

Mandatory fields

Name The Affiliate's name as it will appear throughout the platform.

Status Controls whether the Affiliate can send traffic to your Offers.

  • Active — the Affiliate is operational and can send traffic. Use this for live, approved Affiliates.

  • Pending — the Affiliate is being onboarded or reviewed. No traffic will be accepted.

  • Paused — temporarily stops accepting traffic without deleting the account.

  • Blocked — the Affiliate is blocked from sending traffic. Use this for compliance or quality issues.

  • Rejected — the Affiliate's application was not approved.

  • Deleted — marks the Affiliate as deleted. The record is retained for reporting purposes.

💡 Tip: Set the status to Pending during onboarding and switch to Active once the integration is tested and ready.

Affiliate Manager The account manager responsible for this Affiliate. Used for internal assignment and reporting.

What's next?

Once the Affiliate is created, you'll typically want to:

  1. Configure their postback — so Aftrad can notify them when a conversion is confirmed. Go to General > Postbacks in the Affiliate's profile.

  2. Set up their macros — so Tracking URLs generated for this Affiliate automatically include their platform's parameters. Go to General > Macros.

  3. Assign Offers — give the Affiliate access to the Offers they will promote.

For a full reference of all available configuration options, see Create an Affiliate – Advanced setup.
