Affiliate setup
Impression error handling (mandatory) Defines how Aftrad responds when an Impression URL configured on an Offer returns an error. Two options are available:
HTTP response code — Aftrad returns a specific HTTP status code: 200 OK, 204 No Content, 400 Bad Request, or 404 Not Found.
Impression Traffic Back URL — Aftrad redirects the failed impression to an alternative URL that you define.
Revenue share (optional) The default percentage of the Advertiser's payout shared with this Affiliate on each conversion. This value is used when an Offer is configured to pay the Affiliate based on a percentage of the Advertiser's revenue, and no specific percentage has been set at the Offer level.
Revenue share configuration for redirected clicks (optional) When a click does not match the targeted Offer and Aftrad redirects it to an alternative Offer, this setting defines a different revenue share percentage to apply to conversions from that alternative Offer.
Restrictions bypass These toggles can be set at the Affiliate level and overridden per Offer if needed.
Ignore targeting — if enabled, this Affiliate's traffic is accepted by Offers regardless of their targeting rules (country, carrier, platform, etc.).
Ignore caps — if enabled, this Affiliate's traffic is accepted by Offers even when their conversion CAPs have been reached.
Is restricted to exclusive traffic domains If enabled, this Affiliate can only send traffic through the specific domains defined in the Exclusive traffic domains field.
Default traffic domain The default domain used to generate Tracking URLs for this Affiliate.
Offer feed access If enabled, the Affiliate can access the Offer feed via API.
Affiliate fallback
Defines what happens when a click from this Affiliate arrives at an Offer that is not available (e.g., paused, CAP reached, targeting mismatch).
Find alternative offer and report to the affiliate — Aftrad automatically finds a suitable replacement Offer and redirects the click there. You then choose how the payout is reported to the Affiliate:
Attributed offer's payout value — the Affiliate is notified with the actual payout of the alternative Offer on each conversion.
Requested offer's payout value — conversions from the alternative Offer accumulate until they reach the payout value of the original Offer, at which point the Affiliate receives a single notification for that accumulated amount. For example: if the original Offer pays $10 and the alternative Offer pays $1, the Affiliate will receive one $10 notification for every 10 conversions from the alternative Offer.
Return click to traffic back URL — Aftrad redirects the click to the Traffic Back URL defined below.
Traffic Back URL The URL where clicks are sent when no alternative Offer is available and the fallback is set to return traffic.
Firewall options
These toggles allow you to block specific types of low-quality or fraudulent traffic from this Affiliate.
Datacenter — blocks traffic originating from datacenter IP addresses.
NonHTML — blocks non-browser traffic.
IFrames — blocks traffic arriving through iFrames.
Blank referer — blocks traffic with no referrer information.
Postbacks
The Postbacks section configures how Aftrad notifies the Affiliate when a conversion is confirmed. Three types of postbacks are available:
Offer postbacks — configured for a specific Offer. These take priority over the Default Postback for that Offer.
Global postbacks — fire for all Offers assigned to this Affiliate.
Default Postback — a fallback that fires when no Offer-specific postback matches. This is the most common starting point.
For each postback, configure:
Postback URL (mandatory) The URL provided by the Affiliate where Aftrad sends a conversion notification. For example:
https://affiliatepostback.com?click={affiliate_click_id}&payout={payout}&event={event_type_name}Notify affiliate about events reported as rejected If enabled, the Affiliate also receives a postback notification when a conversion is reported as rejected by the Advertiser.
Targeting conditions
Event setup — defines which events trigger this postback. Set to All events or select specific events for Offers with multiple event types.
Attribution model — defines how Aftrad attributes the conversion to the Affiliate:
Click ID — used when the Advertiser sends the
click_idin their postback. The most precise method.Aggregated ID — used when the Advertiser sends the
aggregate_idinstead.If the Advertiser sends both, Aftrad first tries to match via
click_id. If it doesn't match, it falls back toaggregate_id.
Classification — defines which event types trigger this postback:
Payable — fires only for events that generate a payout for the Affiliate.
KPI — fires for informational events that are tracked but do not generate a payout.
Macros
The Macros tab defines parameter values automatically included in the Affiliate's Tracking URLs and Impression URLs whenever they are generated for an Offer.
Available fields: Click ID, Aggregate ID, Source, Subsource, Placement, App Name, App ID, Site, Creative, IDFA, GAID, User IP, User agent, User language, and Custom 1 through Custom 8.
💡 Tip: Ask the Affiliate to share their platform's macro list and configure it here. That way, every Tracking URL generated for this Affiliate will already include the correct macros — no manual editing needed each time.
Contacts tab
Lists the people associated with this Affiliate account.
Contacts with a green tick in the Access column have active login access to the Affiliate Marketplace, where they can view Offers, get Tracking URLs, configure their postback, and check their stats.
Contacts without the green tick are registered for informational purposes only and do not have Marketplace access.
Payment Details tab
Stores the Affiliate's payment methods — the accounts where they will receive their commissions. Multiple methods can be added. The one marked with a star is the primary (default) payment method.
Payment methods can be added either by the Affiliate from their Marketplace panel, or by the account manager from the Aftrad console.

Allows you to enroll this Affiliate in Aftrad's referral program, where they earn a share of the network's profit generated by Affiliates they refer.

Include affiliates in referrals program — toggle to activate the referral program for this Affiliate.
