Edit an Advertiser

How to edit an Advertiser in Aftrad

On the Advertiser List page, click on the Advertiser name or the Actions icon:

This will redirect you to the edit Advertiser page:

There, you can edit whichever field you want. After updating all the necessary fields, click the save button to save the changes.

GENERAL

Main setup

Advertiser information

  • Name: advertiser's name.

  • Advertiser Manager: advertiser’s account manager.

  • Country: from where the advertiser carries out its activity.

  • Timezone: the time zone in which the advertiser carries out its activity.

Advertiser setup

  • Status:

    • ACTIVE: select this value if you want the advertiser to receive traffic.

    • BLOCKED

    • DELETED

    • PAUSED

    • PENDING

    • REJECTED

Advertiser payment

  • Payment type:

    • Postpaid: If you select this value, you can also set a Monthly revenue budget.

    • Prepaid: If you choose this option, you are required to add credit before receiving any traffic.

  • Secure Event Postback source IPs: list of IPs from which the advertiser's Postbacks will be accepted. If no IP is configured, postbacks from any IP will be accepted.

Advertiser caps

  • Daily click cap: When the daily amount of traffic sent to the advertiser reaches the cap, all the traffic received by their offers will be sent to the fallback.

Retention options

In this section, we can configure some default values for the Advertiser’s offers. All these values can be overridden in every offer:

  • Retention Percentage: percentage of conversions that will be automatically retained. The max value can be 100.

  • Max payout value: maximum payout value that is accepted for the offer.

  • Min TTC: minimum time in seconds from click to conversion.

  • Max TTC: maximum time in seconds from click to conversion.

  • Budget or cap reached: If this option is active, all postback received after reaching a cap or a revenue budget will be retained.

Firewall options

In this section, we can configure some default values for the Advertiser’s offers. All these values can be overridden in every offer:

  • Datacenter: If this option is active, Datacenter traffic will be blocked

  • NonHTML: If this option is active, NonHTML traffic will be blocked.

  • IFrames: If this option is active, iFrame traffic will be blocked

Offer fingerprint capping

In this section, we can configure some default values for the Advertiser’s offers. All these values can be overridden in every offer:

  • Segment: select the segments the platform will use to create the fingerprint for every user.

  • Period: set up the period in which the platform will limit the number of repetitions for a user.

  • Allowed repetitions: set up the number of repetitions allowed in the configured period.

Budgets & Caps

You can configure the default budget and cap values for the advertisers' offers. These values can be overridden in every offer.

  • Impressions

    • Per hour: setting the value of impressions per hour allows you to control how many impressions are allowed for the offer every hour. Selecting traffic distribution on an hourly basis will cause the traffic to be evenly distributed over the entire hour. If not, the hourly cap could be reached within the first minutes of the hour.

    • Per day: setting the value of impressions per day allows you to control how many impressions are allowed for the offer every day. Selecting traffic distribution on a daily basis will cause the traffic to be evenly distributed over the entire day. If not, the daily cap could be reached within the first minutes of the day.

    • Per month: setting the value of impressions per month allows you to control how many impressions are allowed for the offer every month.

    • Maximum spike per minute: control the maximum spike per minute to protect the advertiser's infrastructure from unwanted spikes in traffic, which may damage the stability of their systems. Set this value only when the advertiser requests such protection.

  • Clicks

    • Per hour: control how many clicks the offer accepts in every hour. The offer will stop receiving traffic when the hourly cap is reached. Selecting traffic distribution on an hourly basis will cause the traffic to be evenly distributed over the entire hour. If not, the hourly cap could be reached within the first minutes of the hour.

    • Per day: control how many clicks the offer accepts every day. The offer will stop receiving traffic when the daily cap is reached. Selecting traffic distribution on a daily basis will cause the traffic to be evenly distributed over the entire day. If not, the daily cap could be reached within the first minutes of the day.

    • Per month: control how many clicks the offer accepts in every month. The offer will stop receiving traffic when the monthly cap is reached.

  • Conversions

    • Per hour: control how many conversions the offer accepts in every hour. The offer will stop receiving traffic when the hourly cap is reached.

    • Per day: control how many conversions the offer accepts in every day. The offer will stop receiving traffic when the daily cap is reached.

    • Per month: control how many conversions the offer accepts in every month. The offer will stop receiving traffic when the monthly cap is reached.

  • Revenue

    • Per hour: control how much revenue the offer accepts in every hour. The offer will stop receiving traffic when the hourly budget is reached.

    • Per day: control how much revenue the offer accepts every day. The offer will stop receiving traffic when the daily budget is reached.

    • Per month: control how much revenue the offer accepts every month. The offer will stop receiving traffic when the monthly budget is reached.

CONTACT

In this tab, you can create and manage all the advertiser contacts.

In the top right corner of this tab, click +Create to create a new Advertiser contact.

For editing a contact, click on the contact name or the action icon on the right.

AFFILIATES

In this tab, you can manage the traffic permission between the affiliates and the advertiser.

By default, sending traffic from all the affiliates is allowed. You'll need to configure the restrictions here by clicking the edit button to change this.

SOURCES/SUBSOURCES

In this tab, you can configure the sources/subsources you don't want to send to the Advertiser.

You can add a list of sources/subsources separated by commas. These sources/subsources must be the encoded ones provided by the Advertiser, not the originals sent by the affiliate.

COMMENTS

In this tab, you can write any comments you wish to make and pin the most important ones.

POSTBACK URL

In this tab, you can find the URL where the advertiser must send the postbacks.
