How to manage testlinks with Affiliates
Create a fictional internal advertiser for testlink link purposes only.
Create the new affiliate you want to onboard in the platform.
Configure the affiliate postback. i.e
Create a test link offer without targeting restrictions (visibility: private). You must include the macro {click_id} to get a unique click ID when sending the click.
Assign the offer to the affiliate.
Configure a symbolic payout (i.e. 0.01$).
Share the tracking link for the test link offer with the affiliate.
The affiliate must then create a testlink on their side with the offer tracking link and share it with you.
Once you have the test link from the affiliate, open it in your browser.
The full redirect path you should see must be:
Affiliate testlink
Aftrad´s affiliate tracking link
Offer URL. We have configured google.com in this example.
Copy and paste the click_id as a parameter from the last redirection URL.
Copy the advertiser postback URL and insert the click_id (the other available parameters of the postback are not necessary for this test)

How to validate the postback?
Check the postback status in the Advertiser events section in Aftrad.
Ask and confirm that the affiliate has received the postback.

Send to the advertiser your postback URL.
Create an offer for the advertiser without targeting restrictions (visibility: private) and with the tracking offer URL provided by the advertiser.
You must add the macro
{click_id}in the parameter that you have agreed upon with the advertiser, where they expect to receive the click ID. This step is very important because the advertiser will later use that click ID to send the postback.
Configure a symbolic payout (i.e. 0.01$).
Assign this offer to the fictitious internal affiliate.
Copy the affiliate tracking link of the offer for the internal affiliate and share it with your advertiser.
The advertiser should paste the affiliate tracking link into a browser. This will generate a click with a unique click_id.
Request the advertiser to fire the postback with the click_id; the other available parameters of the postback are not necessary for this test.
