Affiliate – Revenue share options

The revenue share settings define how much of the Advertiser's payout is passed on to an Affiliate. These are configured in the Affiliate's profile under General → Main setup.

Revenue share

The Revenue share field sets the default percentage of the Advertiser's payout that this Affiliate will receive on each conversion.

This value is used as the default across all Offers assigned to this Affiliate when the Offer is configured to pay based on a revenue share model. It can be overridden at the Offer level for individual campaigns.

💡 Example: If the Advertiser sends a payout of $10 and the Affiliate's revenue share is 80%, the Affiliate receives $8 per conversion.

Revenue share configuration for redirected clicks

When a click from an Affiliate arrives at an Offer that is not available — because it is paused, the CAP has been reached, or there is a targeting mismatch — and the Affiliate's fallback is set to find an alternative Offer, this setting controls whether the Affiliate is paid for conversions from that alternative Offer, and at what rate.

Three options are available:

  • Maintain the same revenue share as originally configured for the affiliate — the Affiliate is paid at their standard revenue share percentage, even though the conversion came from a different Offer than the one originally clicked.

  • Do not share any revenue with the affiliate — the Affiliate receives no payout for conversions from redirected clicks. Use this when you want to absorb the fallback traffic without paying the Affiliate for it.

  • Apply a different revenue share specifically for redirected clicks — a separate percentage is applied to conversions from redirected clicks. This option reveals an additional field where you set that percentage.

💡 Tip: If your Affiliate has an aggressive fallback configured and you want to incentivise them to send better-quality traffic, setting this to Do not share any revenue or a lower percentage for redirected clicks can help align their interests with Offer performance.
