How to check all Advertiser's events

Atrad tracks all events that Advertisers send through the postback URL.

Go to Tools > Advertiser event.

There, you have substantial detailed information on every event, so you can see the Affiliate with the different attributes of every click, the type of event, KPI or payable condition with the amount of money the Advertiser pays and the part you will pay to the Affiliate, and the status of the event, among many other values.

Events status

Every event has a status that can have these values:

  • Processed: the event has been received and processed properly. It is a final status.

  • Processing: the event is being processed by Aftrad, so it will change state when processing is finished

  • Rejected: the event has been rejected because of one of these reasons:

    • Not valid click_id or aggregated_click_id notified in the postback

    • Too much time between the click and the event notification

    • Too little time between the click and the event notification

    • The payout value reported in the postback is too high

  • Retained: the event is retained because a manual retention rule has been defined. It will remain in this state until a user manually edits it and changes the status. The payout of the retained events is not attributed to affiliates unless the user edits the event and approves it.

  • Temporarily retained: the event is temporarily retained because a manual retention rule has been defined. It will remain in this state until the established time passes and then it will change to the configured status after retention.

  • Withheld: the event has been associated with a private payout rule or a KPI rule, so it is not attributed to affiliates.

Edit retained events

To edit a retained event, click on the edit icon:

Select the new status from the options:

  • Approve

  • Reject

If you select Reject, the event status will be Rejected.

If you select Approve, the event status will be Processed. Also, you can override the accepted and the Attributed payout for this event, and whether you want to attribute the event to the affiliate:
