In Aftrad, you can see the account balance of every advertiser and keep a record of the payment status of each of them:

Depending on the payment method configured for the advertiser, the account balance works differently, so let's explain every payment method:

Postpaid

When this payment method is configured, the advertiser can receive traffic, and Aftrad will update the balance with the amount of money for the conversions that the advertiser notifies.

These are the actions you can apply to the advertiser's balance:

  • Settle: use this action to settle amounts once the advertiser makes the payments

  • Reduce: use this action to add (manually) debt to the advertiser

  • Set advertiser balance: use this action to set the advertiser balance. It can only be a positive value.

You can also change the payment method to Prepaid. In this case, please be sure to exercise caution: if the balance is negative after switching to Prepaid, all offers from the advertiser will cease to receive traffic. So, if you'd like to switch from postpaid to prepaid without blocking the advertiser beforehand, we strongly recommend configuring a positive balance before changing to Prepaid.

Prepaid

When configuring this payment method, the advertiser cannot receive traffic if the balance is zero or below. Aftrad will update the balance with the amount of money from the conversions that the advertiser notifies. Every time the balance reaches zero or below, all offers from the advertiser will stop receiving traffic.

These are the actions an Aftrad's user can apply to the advertiser's balance:

  • Top-up: use this action to add funds to the advertiser balance

  • Reduce: use this action to decrease (manually) the advertiser balance

  • Set advertiser balance: use this action to set the advertiser balance. It can only be a positive value.

You can also change the payment method to Postpaid. However, please be cautious; if the balance is negative after switching to Postpaid, the advertiser will not be blocked due to insufficient funds.
